Terms of Service

These terms cover pdoomvideo.com and pdoomvideo Creator. By using the site or Creator, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

pdoomvideo.com is operated by Springtide Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@pdoomvideo.com.

2. What we offer

  • The guide and the remix gallery. Our public pages explain the “I’m Upping My P(doom)” music video, show how to make one with Claude, and list remixes made by other people. pdoomvideo.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
  • pdoomvideo Creator. pdoomvideo Creator turns one sentence into an original song and an animated music video. It is digital content, delivered online as an MP4 file that you watch and download on pdoomvideo.com. Third-party AI services write and record the song and plan and paint the scenes, and we render the video on computers we run.
  • Invite-only for now. Creator is currently open by invitation and from a waitlist. Paid access is not open yet. When it opens, Creator will be sold as one-time credit packs (section 6).

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service at any time.

3. Accounts and invite codes

  • You sign in to Creator with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
  • Keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your pdoomvideo account.
  • An invite code activates one account. Invite codes are personal: do not sell, publish or transfer them. We may cancel an invite code, or the access it gave, at any time, including when a code has been shared.
  • Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a date.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use pdoomvideo to create, request or share:

  • anything illegal, or anything that helps someone break the law;
  • any sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualizes minors;
  • sexually explicit content or nudity;
  • content that impersonates a real person, or that makes a real person appear to say or do something they did not, in order to deceive;
  • harassment, threats or hate, or content that encourages violence against anyone;
  • defamation of a real person;
  • content that infringes someone else’s rights, such as copied lyrics or songs, or an imitation of a named living artist;
  • fraud, scams or spam, or deceptive content about elections.

Also do not try to get around invite rules or access controls, use bots or scrapers on the service, overload it, reverse engineer it, or resell access to it.

We may refuse or stop any request, remove any video or gallery listing, and suspend or block accounts that break these rules. An account that asks for content sexualizing minors is blocked from Creator permanently and may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.

5. Your ideas and your videos

  • Your ideas. You keep any rights you have in the ideas you type.
  • What you let us do. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, process and transmit your ideas and videos only to run the service for you: to send them to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, to make your video, and to deliver it and keep it in your account.
  • Your videos are private. On pdoomvideo.com, only your signed-in account can watch or download them. Videos made before accounts existed open only in the browser that made them.
  • Personal, non-commercial use. You may download your videos and use and share them for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • No commercial license. We do not grant a license to use a video commercially, for example in advertising, in a product or service you sell, on a monetized channel, or on music streaming services, and we do not promise that such use is allowed. The song in every video is generated by a third-party AI music service whose terms limit commercial use of its output.
  • No ownership promise. AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright. We do not promise that you, we or anyone else owns copyright in a video, and other people may get similar results from similar ideas.

6. Payments and refunds

  • Paid access to Creator is not open yet. When it opens, Creator will be sold as one-time credit packs, with prices shown in US dollars (USD) before you pay. There are no subscriptions.
  • Payments will be processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your card statement as PDOOMVIDEO.COM.
  • If a video fails to generate, the credits it used come back to your account automatically. All other payments are final. See the Refund Policy.

7. AI output

AI output can be wrong or strange. Lyrics may contain mistakes, scenes may not match your idea, and two videos from the same idea will differ. Watch your video before you share it. You are responsible for how you use and share it.

8. Other people’s content

Remixes in the gallery and embedded videos belong to their creators. We link to them and credit them; embedded videos play from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click. When you submit a remix link, you confirm that it is yours or already public and that we may list it with the title and creator name you give. We may hide anything off-topic. To have a listing removed, email support@pdoomvideo.com.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not promise that Creator will be available at any given time or that a video will be finished by a particular time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Springtide Labs LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Springtide Labs LLC and its members, managers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from the ideas you submit, the videos you make, how you use or share them, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account and videos deleted, email support@pdoomvideo.com from the address you sign in with (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or block your account if you break these Terms. Sections 5 and 7 to 14 continue to apply after your account is closed.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, also give notice on the site. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
